LGHS Honors Lemon Grove’s Newest Public Mural: The Lemon Grove Incident
Mark Lane, CEO, Minority Humanitarian Foundation, organized a superb dedication on March 19, 2022 of the new mural on the wall of 7963 Broadway. The artist, Mario Chacon, was present, along with a who’s who of the Mexican American community in Lemon Grove and environs.

Treganza Heritage Park Dedication a Huge Success
The LGHS is thrilled at success of the events surrounding the Treganza Heritage Park dedication and celebration. From the overwhelming crowd at the Friday Night History Alive Lectures centering on Alberto and Amorita Treganza, to the fantastic dedication on Saturday morning Oct 9, to the fabulous fun filled dinner gala, each event was a great time for all.
Events – Lemon Grove Historical Society hosts multiple events throughout the year. From Parsonage Museum exhibit grand openings, to special museum tours, to the social ‘Members-Only’ gatherings, to the beloved “History Alive” free lecture series, all are highlight of the Lemon Grove’s calendar. A few of our many events are highlighted here:
