Annual Christmas Bonfire Coming to Treganza Heritage Park

Annual Bonfire and Santa Visit
Friday Dec. 3 from 4 – 8 pm.
The Lemon Grove Historical Society will again join the City of Lemon Grove in presenting the 24th annual
Holiday Bonfire at the Treganza Heritage Park.
Free hot chocolate, pony rides, displays by local groups, live music and the gigantic bonfire will kick off the holiday season in style!
The Lemon Grove Historical Society will present
A Visit with Santa – 5:30 to 7:30
Come visit Santa seated next to the annual Christmas tree inside the beautifully decorated H. Lee House, then skate on over to the open house at The Lemon Grove Parsonage Museum.
Come and join us, where the colorful story of Lemon Grove awaits.
Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Helen M. Ofield is the president of the Lemon Grove Historical Society. She spearheaded the saving of Lemon Grove's first church (built 1897) and its adaptive reuse as the Parsonage Museum of Lemon Grove, and the saving of the H. Lee House (built 1928) and its adaptive reuse as the city's cultural center. Her civic history, Images of America: Lemon Grove (Arcadia 2010) includes photographic content advised by Pete Smith. She is an award-winning writer-producer for national and local film and television, as well as for print and online news media, a member of the San Diego County Historic Site Board and the Society of Professional Journalists, and a long-time historic preservationist.
