Researchers are subject to the following rules and fees. Researchers must be age 15 and over. Ages 8 through 14 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, teacher or other responsible adult; students ages 15 – 18 must provide proof of age.
All research is done inside the H. Lee House Cultural Center, 3205 Olive Street, Treganza Heritage Park, Lemon Grove. Please ring the front doorbell.
Research appointments may be booked with two week’s notice (14 days’ notice) for Thursday, Friday or Saturday morning between 9 AM and 12 noon. Please be on time and bring your reservation form with you.
You will be required to pay your research fee in cash on arrival and deposit your student I. D. card, or driver’s license, or credit card with the archivist on duty. The latter will be returned to you at the close of the research period. No food or drink is permitted in the H. Lee House during the research session. You will be required to leave briefcases, large bags, backpacks, etc., outside the research room. Do not bring a camera, cell phone or any other retrieval device into the research room. You may not remove any item from the Lemon Grove Historical Society collections or the H. Lee House Cultural Center.
