From time to time, community members wish to leave a legacy for future generations. Having provided for their families in life and wanting to give back to the community in which they worked or lived, these individuals make legacy gifts to deserving community institutions.
The Lemon Grove Historical Society welcomes such gifts.
Types of Legacy Gifts
Your legacy gift to the Society may be a bequest in your will, an insurance policy, pension plan, charitable remainder trust, a gift of real property or other gift.
Should you wish to condition the gift we will be happy to discuss with you the capabilities of the Society to comply with your wishes.
Leave a Legacy in Your Lifetime
Some prefer to leave a legacy in their lifetime. For example, leading arts donor Gale Lagace underwrites new exhibits in the Parsonage Museum. Mrs. Lagace’s generosity makes possible professional photographic and document reproduction, and purchase of exhibit tools such as stands, shelves, mannequins and lighting. She is bannered on exhibits and hailed in our newsletter.
You may wish to leave a current legacy in support of archival supplies, garden plantings, rose garden maintenance, etc.
Your Gift will be Remembered
As a historical society we are in the position of ensuring gifts will be remembered. Gifts from the heart touch people and live in the memory of others.
Please remember LGHS in your will or family trust. Few things have more impact long term than a Legacy Gift.
